Forever21 Heritage 1981: Fall 2010

Forever21 has always been the spot for fashionista's that want the latest styles, that wouldn't like to break the bank! For fall 2010 they are keeping that alive with there latest Lookbook for Heritage 1981! Consisting of beanie hats, denim skirts, denim jackets, plaid shirts, blazers, knee high socks and so much more.

Entry 2: Adventures at Forever21

News: I just got some wonderful news the other day while at our afternoon meeting at F21. The Founder of F21 was around town looking at the new stores that where opening up in the area and on that list was a F21 opening on Newbury Street in Boston, MA. Now if you live in the Boston area you know there was no F21 within close distance without having to go out of your way. But now there will be one a a main shopping strip. Keep it posted for the grand opening date.

Honestly, when this song comes on the whole stores goes into karaoke mode. You can hear the lyrics spilling out all over. So I always sing at the top of my lungs whenever I hear that beat break. One of my favorites!!

Launches on Jan. 29th

F21 just introduced that they have a new line coming out..for kids! The first thing I thought of was my niece, I can't wait to see what they have to offer. I'm sure it's going to be lots of fun to be able to go shopping with my niece and never have to leave the store. The store I work in is already jam packed with racks of clothes. I have no idea where there going to fit this new collection (It's in selected stores). That doesn't mean you have to wait to get yours, just keep it posted and we'll let you know when it's available online!

Another new addition to F21 is their latest Twist collection. It draws inspiration from a old school Diner with heavy jukebox influences also. This collection is limited and will go quick. Check it out here.

Entry: Adventures at Forever21

I have to admit..I love working at Forever 21. I love being around all the garments and around fashion feins alike. Also it's basically like your shopping the whole time your there or as if your the mannequins personal stylist. At the moment I'm just a sales associate on the side, but I'm starting to train to be a Visual Merchandiser. So While I'm there I thought I would twist what's going on in my specific store with things on DTY. So there might be updates on current themes in F21, music from the stores playlist, New hot items, Sales, & Pictures of the mannequins. Which get changed often. So let me know what interest you and what will give you inspiration.

F21 current Theme: The theme of the moment in the store is "Resort" so each room in designed to fit each separate them. Like High Tea, Dinner at 8, Yacht, By the pool and more. We recently received a lot of nautical items, such as jewels and a lot of the themes revolve around the "nautical" theme also.

Hot Match: Mixing and matching Florals with stripes and military inspired jackets is a must!

BoomBox: Currently my favorite song in rotation! Anything with a crazy bass is on my A list.

Sales: There's a huge sale going on. F21 doesn't always have big sales. All the items that didnt go with the Holidays are on sale now. So go grab a over coat for 30% off.

WTF?: New to F21 is a pile of books stacked near the register. As soon I seen them, I was like "No they did not just put a Robert Pattinson lookbook at the register!!" Tempting...But I don't think my Twilight obsession should get any more severe. At least I can get a fix at work!

Twelve by Twelve  from Forever 21 is dropping a Fall collection that has some amazing tights, One's flushed with flowers, one's I've definitely been waiting for. Not only that but it will also include some beautiful lace gloves and amazing accessories, Oh & knowing that it's from Forever 21 we can all look forward to the savings.

I haven't been to Forever21 in forever, basically because there's not one close to the Boston area. So when I did get a chance I managed to grab these Rhinestone earings that look really vintage. Also I got a sequins top I been wanting forever and I found one ON SALE for only 9.99. Goodtimes

I love summer, I could already feel that this will be the best summer ever. So do not get stuck at home because you forgot to buy a slamming beach suit. Forever 21 has hot piece's for a cheap price, so you could buy more than 1 or maybe even more than 2. What ever sinks your ship!

DTY: Forever 21 launches 8Tee4.

I headed over to Forever 21's site to look for some summer sandals and I came across something far more interesting. It seems as if Forever 21 has launched a new line *or I'm just late with this one* The first thing I thought of when I saw this was American Apparel .. but low and behold, a helluva lot cheaper! Here are a few images from the look book and a few items are available online already. I've only been in Forever 21 once so perhaps I'll take another trip over there and see about some of these new summer pieces.

What do you think, yay or nay? I figured the only thing people would say about this is that Forever 21 is copying off of American Apparel but shit, $10 acid wash shorts and $6 tunics - hmm not bad, not bad at all.

Forever 21 will soon be catering to all my curvy ladies who have trying to squeeze our bust into their stichings for years. Including me! Faith 21 is going to have a similar style to what forever 21 carries now but be in more form fitting sizes. The line will be sold  starting May1st in select store and also online. It took them long enough.
