I've already explained how much I loved this movie. It was an amazing, inspiring, story & the film was very captivating. One of my favorite parts of the movie was how they mixed media.. like 3-D drawing, motion picture, and amazing music!! Well recently the movie came out on DVD & iTunes, and I got a chance to do some research on who created the drawings featured in the movie, as well as the musical artist. GO SEE IT: "It's kind of a funny story"

I absolutely love movies like this! Filled with a unique perspective on stories we seen & heard a million times over. The movies that incorporate art in cinematic ways.. this movie is that type of movie! The one that twist a serious situation with the funniest shit ever, yeahh the movie you could go see high and bug out(I prefer sober the first time around). If you like those type of movies GO SEE THIS!!! It was amazing, I can't wait to watch it again.

Youth in Revolt

We Love Michael Cera
I watched Youth in Revolt starring Michael Cera and it was hilarious! It's hard not to expect to laugh at any film he's featured in, but this one was better because you had a double dose of Cera. It was him and his evil twin, which made the movie magically dark and humorous. If you think you know what this movie's going to be like from the trailer...your wrong. Just check it out and you will be pleased.

Complex x Avatar

On the stands now is the latest Complex magazine with the usual double dose covers. It features Eminem & Zoe from the movie Avatar. If you have not seen it yet, make sure you make a movies night this coming 4$ Tuesday! Seeing it in 3-D on the big screen is something you don't want to miss out on.

Night at the Museum 2: ***

This movie was cute. It was not as good as the first one. The story line was all over the place, but they made up for it with some funny punch lines that made me giggle. Even though none of the character's in the first movie hardly said anything in the second it was cool, because they gave us some better character's this time around with some cool features, That I can't tell you because it will ruin the movie. The best thing about it was that I saw it in IMAX on some temperpedic chairs (which where major comfy) and if you don't get the chance to see it in IMAX then don't bother! Just wait until it comes out on DVD. 

Land of the Lost: **

If you seen one Will Ferrel movie then you seen them all. He did his usual thing, he was a asshole & did some crazy stunts. The funniest part of the movie was when they all got wasted on some narcotic. Most of it was totally off the scale and so fake and impossible that it was annoying, but some of those part's made it funny so it's a oxymoron and a bug out. Not to mention they said some pretty fucked up shit about women..Assholes. But If your a big Will Ferrel fan catch this on a Tuesday HALF/OFF!

  

UP 3-D: ****

Pixar never let's us down. This movie was amazing! It was really creative and funny. I actually cried because it was sad! Lmao (loser) But basically everyone in the theater was pulling out the kleenex. Don't get it twisted there was lots of laughs and good times & what's even more amazing is that they have this movie featured in 3-D. Don't miss out on this one on the BIG screen.

Los Angeles: TARINA TARANTINO

I love this collection, It so different from what Tarina usually does. It's taking inspiration from the LA City girl & tattoo art. My favorite piece is the Bullet & Bow necklace $70.00 (below) & the LA silver Bead bullet bracelet $88.00 (above).  

Mi Vida Loca: This collection brings back fond memories of this movie I watched when I was young. This whole movie was crazy, My next door friend stole it from her sister's room & we had a movie night popcorn & all.

This movie looks so cute. But it's not a love story, hmm interesting I can't wait to see it.

DISNEY'S FIRST: THE PRINCESS & THE FROG

I'm sure you heard about Disney's First black princess, blah blah blah. Well I just seen the preview when I was watching Bolt yesterday. I was like geez finally, then I researched some of it online & here are some facts:
The movie will be based in New Orleans
She's the first American Princess
The happy couple will be interracial
There first attempt at making the movie
the girl was going to be a chamber maid and her
name was going to be Maddy but because of controversy & Racism
they changed that and now her name is Tiana.
The movie will be dropping Christmas 2009

Finally a movie I will pay to go see, because the last one I seen in theater's was Sex&The City and it's already coming out on DVD (sep. 23rd). I can't wait to see this it's like SuperBad part two, It looks like it's going to be a cute and really funny event. Mark the date: October 3rd perfect movie time

Geez, Dudes hitting up the movies at wee hours in the morning to watch a movie at the theater and it being sold out but you get in anyway and then the next morning you go and see it again but this time you actually get a seat and after you see it you go buy every batman movie that was ever made cause you was SLACKING on your A-game. THAT'S DEDICATION and the rest is hype.

whats the BUZZ about?

When all this started we where young and into other things than watching sex and the city but we where at our peak when everything started to get juicy. I love this show but never got a chance to catch every episode plus+ you had to pay for HBO at the time. Now im straight addicted to Sex & the City since all the DVD collections are going for 16$. I suggest you cop a season every monday and believe me you'll get hooked. Or if your balling out of control grab the whole collection for 110$ (originally 200$). Since the movie is so close and the wait is killing us Vogue and Entertainment is giving us what we need. EW dedicated a whole issue to the ladies of SATC and vogue got some juicy pictures of Carrie and Big. So know you have alot to look forward to before the movie which drops MAY 30th. Plus in each DVD collection comes a free ticket to go see the movie. Jump on the train ladies.
